You are probably thinking Christmas? Already? and I know what you mean. It isn’t even Halloween yet, but I wanted to let you know about this fun (and potentially profitable) contest from Macy’s.
Macy’s perfect tree search
You and your spouse should grab a camera and go out in your yard. Look around. Do you see any evergreen trees? Good. Are they fir or spruce? Good. Are they 40-50 feet tall? Great. Do you see one that looks like it could be the poster boy (er – poster tree) for Christmas? Awesome! That tree could represent Christmas for Macy’s downtown Boston store (and get you a $1000 Macy’s gift card). If you are willing to donate it to Macy’s, your tree will be harvested, transported and positioned atop the marquee at Macy’s Downtown Crossing for the 2014 holiday season.
A Christmas tree with shining lights and beautiful ornaments can get anyone in the holiday spirit. Maybe your tree could be this holiday inspiration for the people of Boston!
How to enter
Take a photo or two of your tree and send them along with a 4×6 index card with your name, daytime phone number, street address, email address, location and height of the tree to:

Not so fine print
Only evergreen trees, either fir or spruce, standing 40-50 feet tall and displaying full brush will be considered. It must also have a single trunk from top to bottom and be easily accessed by the Macy’s harvesting crew.
Remember, if your tree is chosen, Macy’s will show their appreciation by giving you a $1000 Macy’s gift card!
What are you waiting for? Grab your camera and head outside. Do you have the ultimate Christmas tree?
