My husband doesn’t really take an interest in what is hung on the front door for decoration. As long as the door opens, closes and locks, he is happy. I like to feel welcome when I come home, and a nice wreath or hanging decoration does the trick. Recently, I decided to make a wreath we could both enjoy when we come home.
Halloween is usually about the costumes and kids for me. Who am I kidding… it is all about the candy! Growing up, I can remember my mom buying candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters and every year she would have to go back out and buy more. She would hide it from us, but she couldn’t hide it from herself. She would slowly eat the candy every time she walked past the hiding place. We are a family of sweet-lovers, and candy is obviously no exception.
