The day I brought our beagle, Honey, home for the first time I had to drive 2 hours with her in the car. As a first-time dog owner, I didn’t know what to expect and hadn’t thought about much ahead of time. After about an hour, I stopped at a gas station to let her out to “stretch her legs”. I wanted to give her some water but hadn’t brought a bowl with me. I ended up buying paper plates and bottled water at the gas station and poured the water on the plate for her to drink. I can still remember how unprepared I felt!
If you are like me, you probably have a hard time getting enough exercise in a day. I recently jumped on the activity tracker bandwagon and found that when I am deep into my work, I get less than 2000 steps in a day! That was a real eye opener for me and I’ve been looking for ways to make getting my 10,000 steps a day easier.
