Week 2 of the #lovemypartner photo-a-day challenge is coming to an end. This was a tough week for me (in my personal life), but I made sure to keep up with my photo-a-day posts on Instagram! It is still going strong with some really great people joining in the mix!
Don’t know what I am talking about? Well, you can find out more about the #lovemypartner challenge here. I would love for you to join in! No need to post every day. You could even just post a weekly recap like this one. Or maybe a monthly one?
Day 7 of the challenge
The word for today was ‘bond’. People always say my husband looks like Daniel Craig – James Bond. What do you think? He is probably going to kill me for posting this 🙂
Day 8 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘challenge’. As a personal trainer he challenges me to get fit. As a husband he challenges me to be the best that I can be, every day. Love him!
Day 9 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘ring’. My husband and I chose the engraving for each other’s wedding bands without telling each other what we chose. When we went to pick up the rings before the wedding, the woman asked us what the engraving meant since we both wrote similar things. Turns out we chose almost the exact same engraving of something nobody else would understand but us. Just shows how connected we are!
Day 10 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘close’. This is a closeup selfie of my husband and I taken early morning while on vacation.
Day 11 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘one’. This is the exact moment that my husband and I became one.
Day 12 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘anniversary’. Four years ago on September 12, I married the most amazing man in a ceremony that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I love you sweetie!
We celebrate this day by making each other cards. This is my card for him.
Day 13 of the challenge
Today’s word was ‘cake’. This is our wedding cake. We had origami cranes as part of our wedding. Have you heard of the tradition of the thousand paper cranes? (Read about it here.) We had 1000 of them at our wedding… including some on our cake shown here.
