This post brought to you by Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.
If you are like me, you have fond memories as a child eating a sloppy joe sandwich with it dripping down your face while you enjoy all of the delicious flavors. Well, fast forward to today, and you can still enjoy this feeling! Plus, you can share them with your children.
Try the flavors
Recently I was given the opportunity to try each of the three flavors shown above. I didn’t realize that Manwich came in anything but original, but now it does! The Bold flavor was a hit with my husband, and I really liked the Thick & Chunky because it wasn’t as messy. All three flavors are so easy to make and allow you to get dinner to the table quickly! And, as always, each can of Manwich is free of artificial flavors and preservatives and offers a full serving of vegetables.
As an appetizer
I also took a look at the Manwich Recipes website and found an awesome idea for a Game Day appetizer: Sausage Dip. Here is the recipe:
- 12 ounces Italian pork sausage
- 1/4 cup frozen chopped onion
- 1 can (16 oz each) Manwich® Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- Tortilla chips, optional

- 1 can (16 oz) Manwich Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- Tortilla chips
Directions:
- Cook sausage and onion for 5 minutes over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Sausage will no longer be pink.
- Drain.
- Add remaining ingredients (except for the tortilla chips) and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. Cream cheese should be melted.
- Serve with tortilla chips on the side and a little Mexican cheese blend on top.
Doesn’t it look delicious? Well, it is! Plus, it is really easy to make.
What is your favorite Manwich flavor?

Ya know.. NEVER thought to use this as part of a dip. I’ve had friends make cheese meat dip similar to this.. but the meat is already cooked, way easier.. love it. Thanks

I have never liked sloppy joes the traditional way. I do use Manwich to make a great casserole. I love the flavor of their sauce just can not do Sloppy Joes. I do make them for my husband and kids though.

We haven’t had Manwich in ages! But it’s definitely a favorite when I remember! Guess I should get some to put back for supper this weekend!
