Have you ever met the perfect health conscious couple? These couples seem to be on the same page when it comes to eating right, drinking all the right fluids, and go to the gym together 4 days a week. They run a 5K several times a year to support all the right causes and wouldn’t dream of smoking, over indulging in alcohol or becoming a couch potato on the weekend. Don’t you just hate them? In reality, it seems that most couples (like my husband and I) are not on the same page when it comes to health and fitness. There may be one spouse who is health conscious (my hubby) but the other is content to sit around, watch TV and eat bon bons (me).

I always knew that I wanted to get married. Not in the way that some women do (like planning their wedding at age 10), but rather because I knew that I wanted to have a partner…a person to share the rest of my life with. I knew that there were benefits to being married and […]
Today I have a quote from Robert Heinlein (1907-1988) an American science-fiction author. It was originally in his book “Stranger in a Strange Land” (1961) and a variant of it was used again in “The Cat Who Walks Through Walls” (1985). I find it interesting (and quite odd) that such a lovely quote could come […]
