I participated in a Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for RoC Skincare. I received product to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
We all know that as we age, our skin becomes an easier target for wrinkles and other signs of aging. Over time these skin changes make it increasingly more important that we take good care of our skin. But did you know that where you live may determine how wrinkle-prone you are?
RoC Skincare Wrinkle Ranking
Recently, RoC® Skincare and Sperling’s Best Places analyzed the findings of original and existing research to determine the states where residents’ skin are most at risk from damage by their lifestyle and environment. Factors such as lifestyle, occupational and environmental criteria were weighted by relevancy to skin damage risk. Each state in the study received points for the categories and scores were weighted for each state to determine an overall “Wrinkle Index” score, a ranking for each state in the US. Take a look at the results below:
I live in Pennsylvania, and we come in second in the wrinkle ranking! My state says “More cracks than the Liberty Bell”. New York came in first and Alaska came in last with the best conditions.
Choosing the right skincare products
After seeing the Wrinking Ranking, choosing the right products to help me keep my skin healthy is now a priority. What I realized is that it can be tough to determine which products to use; especially with so many different options on the market or on store shelves. However, RoC has made it their mission to make it a little easier with their array of great skin care products.
Founded in 1957 by Dr.Jean-Charles Lissarrague, RoC was created with the goal to help women look and feel their best through use of their skin care products. Their technology and formula was crafted over years of hard work and research before finally becoming the company we know and love today. RoC created the first hypoallergenic skin care product and has since been providing an innovative, pure, stabilized form of retinol for over the counter products.
Recently I was given the opportunity to work with RoC and was sent their Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer and Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum to try for myself.
The Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer (shown above) is a breakthrough dual action formula that is clinically proven to fill in creases and reduce the overall look of wrinkles. Dermatologist tested, the Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer won’t clog pores or cause you to break out and is crafted using a combination of hyaluronic acid and pure RoC Retinol.
The Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum is clinically proven to help reduce the look of fine lines and deep wrinkles. The formula is lightweight and in just 4 weeks will help the skin appear more radiant as well as less lined. After 8 weeks of using the formula the look of crows feet will also become less prominent. The Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum goes on easily, and absorbs quickly while leaving your skin feeling smooth.
If you’ve been on the hunt for a product that will help maintain the overall youthfulness of your skin then I would definitely recommend RoC and their skincare products. You can find them online or in-store at Target.
