Last month I introduced you to Hood Calorie Countdown; my new favorite keto friendly milk substitute. Dan and I have been drinking it ever since, and I have been trying it in some ketogenic recipes to see how well it works. The results? It is awesome! You can use your favorite variety of Hood Calorie Countdown in place of milk (regular, almond, soy, etc.) in your favorite recipes and reduce the number of carbs dramatically! That is what I did for these low carb blueberry pancakes and they are so good.
Crispy Grain-Free Waffle Recipe – Easily Made Keto-Friendly!
For a special treat, I will make something more than coffee and Dan and I will eat breakfast in the sunroom. We open all of the windows and enjoy the breeze while we eat. Recently I made these awesome grain-free waffles for breakfast in the sunroom. I like making waffles during the warm weather because it doesn’t involve sweating over a hot stove.

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes – No Flour Needed!
At the beginning of the year, my dad and I decided to try the 21 Day Sugar Detox. Why? I know I have an addiction to sugar and I wanted to challenge myself. I didn’t think I could go 2 days without sugar let alone 3 weeks. We did it, and this pancake recipe definitely helped!
Brunch Recipe: Prosciutto, Asparagus and Rosemary Fries Frittata
With the warmer weather and Mother’s Day coming up, it is the perfect time to Spring Into Flavor and invite people over for brunch out on the deck. I love when we finally get to use our deck and enjoy the outdoors while we eat! What I don’t love is having people over and spending all of my time in the kitchen preparing the food. Instead, I prefer to make dishes that can be prepped ahead and finished when my guests arrive.

I don’t know about you, but out of all of the meals, breakfast is the toughest for me. I wake up and I’m not always hungry. Some mornings, just the thought of eggs makes me feel sick! Of course, I could down 2 bowls of sugary cereal no problem. I have had to be creative […]
