Thank you LyveHome for sponsoring today’s discussion and helping me protect my precious memories!
You are back from the honeymoon with tons of wonderful memories, and the photos to prove it. Some are on your phone, some on your spouse’s phone, some on your camera, and some you already downloaded to your computer. Oh, and how about those wedding photos? Some have been emailed to you by family and friends and soon you will get tons of photos from your wedding photographer. How are you supposed to organize all of these photos? What if some get accidentally deleted?
Accidents happen
Have you ever lost your phone? OrĀ dropped your (non-waterproof) phone in water? How about that computer? Have you ever crashed your computer and the “Geeks” couldn’t fix it (yes mom, I’m talking to you)? Things like this are out of our control, and you have probably had one or more of these happen to you. Unfortunately, when something like this happens, you may not be able to retrieve the photos you had stored on the device.
Photo management and protection
Let me introduce you to your new best friend… newlyweds, meet Lyve, Lyve, meet the newlyweds. Lyve wants to help you manage and protect your #LyveMoments! What is Lyve? Good question! Lyve is the complete solution for collecting, protecting, and rediscovering your personal photos and videos.
There are two parts of the Lyve system: the LyveHome and the Lyve apps. LyveHome (shown above) sits at home keeping track of all of your photos while you are out and about. The Lyve apps are downloaded to your various devices (smartphones, tablets, and computers). The Lyve app communicates with the LyveHome device, sending it your photos after you take them. The LyveHome then makes all of your photos available for viewing and enjoying on your other devices!
For example, while on your honeymoon, you and your husband both take photos on your smartphones with Lyve app installed. Moments later, you are each able to see and access each other’s photos from within the Lyve app. They are all neatly organized into the days they were taken. Plus, the LyveHome device (sitting at home) has kept copies of the photos in case you lose your phones or accidentally delete photos!
Lyve allows you to have one view of your collection, even photos and videos posted on Facebook, or those kept in cloud storage services like Dropbox or Google Drive, regardless of the space you have available on your mobile device. With 2TB of storage, your LyveHome will hold years and years worth of photos and videos.
Along with consolidating content from your devices, LyveHome is built with a USB port and an SD slot, so you can bring together memories scattered across various drives into your Lyve account. Photos saved on an external hard drive? No problem! Videos on a memory stick? No problem! You can see how useful this device really is, can’t you? Photo management and protection all in one!
As newlyweds, you are just beginning to make wonderful memories together. With Lyve, you can keep on capturing your favorite moments knowing your photos and videos are automatically protected on your LyveHome from wherever you are.

I love that it’s instantaneous when you connect with your phone. I also love that you can put the memory card in it and copy your pictures and have those go onto your tech device that you choose. I lost a years worth of photos’ unfortunately so the concept of this being able to hold the pictures is awesome.

Besides wanting to live in a glass house?! I love how it connects with so many devices..never have to worry about losing photos to a crashed laptop.
Jill Myrick says
I love how easy Lyve is to copy my photos that I love into.
I also love that once I have copied them I can easily display them on my tablet, laptop and television. Lyve would definitely take the worry out of losing photos of my children over the years, special occasions and photos of family member that are no longer with us. I would definitely feel more secure in knowing that my memories are secure.
