With hectic lifestyles, it can be easy to forget to show your spouse how happy you are to be with them. This is why Valentine’s Day is a great time to show your spouse how much you care. It is a yearly reminder that you should highlight the importance of your partner in your life. Being […]
Valentine’s Day is rumored to have been created by a popular greeting card company to boost sales. While this isn’t true, it’s easy to get carried away and spend a lot of money on a little bit of romance in a box. Here’s how to keep the money in your wallet and still have a […]
Looking for a fun activity for New Year’s Eve? My husband and I like to go through our memory jar from the previous year and reminisce. What is a memory jar? Throughout the year we write down good things that have happened in our lives. Memorable events, exciting trips, and even funny mishaps. We write a […]
It’s time to start thinking about the Christmas season. Don’t start groaning yet. The stores will be full of pictures showing sweet little angels ready to enjoy their Christmas Eve PJ’s and cookies for Santa.
This is the giving time of year. Everyone is buying presents and thinking about what they want to get for friends and family. For many, it is also the time of year to think about giving to those in need. Maybe you donate money or time to help others, or maybe you donate gifts for children who may not get presents this

Fall is my husband’s favorite season. As I mourn the loss of warm weather, swimming, and wearing shorts, Dan revels in the changing leaves and crisp air. Our beagle, Honey, is right there with him. She enjoys basking in the warm sun and sniffing the wind while the leaves fall off the trees. Although fall can bring beautiful scenery, holiday fun, and tons of good food it can also bring some risks for pets.
