My thoughts on the yoga mat
Such a great idea; don’t know why I haven’t seen this before! If you are anything like me, you sweat when you workout. I always have a towel by my side to catch the sweat before it drips onto my workout surface. With the Synergy mat/towel, Aurorae has taken care of this for me! The top surface is a microfiber towel, and the bottom is a regular yoga mat. Not only is this great for sweat, but it also helped with slipping. When I have used a regular yoga mat in the past, I found myself sliding on the mat until it was worn in a bit. The Synergy mat actually grips better once it has gotten wet. Bring on the sweat!
In my house, the DVD player is in a room with a hard wood floor (see photo above). I tested out the mat on this surface and it was great. It didn’t budge while I was doing my DVD. Very important.
Another thing I find very helpful is that it is machine washable. With all of the sweat I get on the mat, I am so glad I can throw it in the wash instead of trying to wipe the mat down with water and a cleaner. I feel like it gets cleaner, and the mat comes out great!
